In 2025, matosinhos.tech shaped an ecosystem.
We evolved our services and the quality of our events. We brought in bigger speakers and supported the right causes (Casa do Caminho). As a result, our community evolved with us, and we actually moved the needle in the Portuguese tech ecosystem (read here).
For 2025, we aimed to push the boundaries of what makes a good event, create engaging learning experiences, and break the mold of traditional networking. That’s why we wanted to host a live hacking event inside a theatre, enjoy a podcast by a natural pool, and recreate a Berlin nightOUT for a genAI event.
The best part was that everyone always said yes!

The Podcast Series (Founder Tales): Our collaboration with Founder Tales allowed us to interview the builders of our community and reach far beyond Matosinhos.
Workshops: Our Service Design Workshop (facilitated by Carolina Faria) proved that our community isn’t just looking for “networking”, they are also looking for professional evolution.
Community Connection: Tech Waves proved that the community deeply resonates with content but also wants to celebrate the unique “Matosinhos vibe” and local culture.
